Eleven Months

Size Diapers: Size Four. 

Size Clothes: 12-18 and 18-24 month leggings and some sweaters and tops.

Eyes: Blue with a light hazel/yellowish around her pupil. 

Hair: Brown. Looks like it's getting a little lighter though.

Sleeping: She usually goes to bed between 7:30-8 (sometimes later depending on the night *monkey covering face emoji*). She'll wake up a couple times through out the night. It's hard because we are living with my parents at the moment, so her crib is in our room (there's nowhere else to put it) so when she wakes up, she knows I'm laying just a couple feet away from her. It's been kind of exhausting. As for the morning, she usually wakes up around 7:30-8 a.m. and drinks her milk. We usually watch some videos and hang out in bed for about a half an hour so I could get enough energy to get up and ready for the day. I make her breakfast and she usually takes her first nap around 10:30 or so and a second nap a few hours after that.  

Eating: We just started giving her whole milk because we ran out of formula about a week ago and didn't want to buy more. She's liking it but not loving it. She eats eggs and ketchup, fruit (grapes have been a favorite this month), yum yums, raisins, Annie's bunny snacks, apple sauce, pb&j's and her favorite... PASTA!!!! Any kind of a pasta. She's not the best eater right now though... which scares me. As long as she's drinking right?

Milestones/Funny Moments: 

• She's getting better at walking around furniture
• She's a pro at climbing the stairs (someone is always behind her)
• She's taking MORE steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!
• Her first temperature 3/15/16
• She got a really bad rash all over her body from either the amoxicillin or the virus cold she had.
• She plays games with us. She'll pretend to feed me but then trick me out and stick the food in her mouth. 
• She says "more" in sign language but claps her hands instead of the regular sign hahahaha..  
• She throws her food on the floor a lot and will move her index finger at me like "no, no, no." 
• She just started doing this but she throws her hands up and closes her eyes when we put her in the car seat. She only does it in the Jeep. 
• She always sticks one leg out when we are in a shopping cart or she'll throw one leg up when she's in her stroller. Some people look at me like, "don't you know your daughters leg is hanging over?" She'll put it back up if you try to change it. 
• She's really into drinking bath water ahahaha..

Words: 
She said "uh oh!" when she dropped a piece of bread. 
She can say "quack quack" if we ask her what a duck says and she says "ooh ooh ahh ahh" if we ask her what a monkey says.

Ten Months

Size Diapers: Size Four. 

Size Clothes: She wears some 6-12 month shirts and fits into 12-18 and even some 18-24 month leggings and tops.

Eyes: Still blue with a light hazel/yellowish around her pupil. 

Hair: Brown. Looks like it's getting a little lighter though.

Sleeping: Same as last month | She's sleeping throughout the night. Yay! She'll go to bed anywhere between 7-9 p.m. and wake up around 7:00-8:30ish a.m. When she wakes up I make her a bottle, she plays for 30 minutes or so and is ready for her morning nap. She usually has around 3-4 naps a day. 

Eating: She's been drinking 7oz (Gerber Soothe) and has breakfast after about 30 minutes-1 hour after the bottle. I know they say babies aren't suppose to have eggs whites until a year but my dad fed her some eggs, she had no allergic reaction and  now eggs are her favorite. She loves them with a couple drops of ketchup and a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top. She is my child! ;) She also loves toast for breakfast and fruit. Her favorite is mandarin oranges.. any oranges actually.

Milestones: 

• She pretends to talk on the phone
• Tries to brush her hair and my hair
• Throws her hands up when we say "touch down."
• Says "ow!" when she falls on her bum (she kind of stopped this one)
• Loves to wave to people
• Claps when we say "Go Broncos!"
• Puts one finger up when we ask her how old she's gonna be in April
• Danced for the first time to "Hey Mickey"
• Getting two teeth on top. Four up top and two on the bottom. The far left (my left) tooth is coming down now.
• She got cut on her right middle finger :( She's so strong. She was also really tired but just wanted mommy and daddy snuggles. It broke our hearts!!!!
• SHE TOOK A COUPLE STEPS on February 28th and 29th 2016
• Her first cold on March 2nd :( She's still sick and it breaks our hearts every time we hear her cough. 
• She was trying to drink the bath water (it had an oatmeal soothing treatment for her eczema) and I said "no, no" while shaking my index finger and she put her index finger up and started copying me. Hilarious! I'm going to be THAT mom. The mom that can't help but laugh when your child does the cutest things at the wrong time, like when you're trying to discipline. 
• Her eczema has been the worst this month. We've been trying the aveeno oatmeal soothing treatment and aveeno lotion (Eczema therapy moisturizing cream) and it's seems to be working better than anything.

She also understands when I say "do you want to see the bunny" or when I say his name (Radd). She watches Little Baby Bum still on YouTube and also watches Dave and Ava.

Nicknames: We call her by her name. I also make crazy voices (my family thinks I should be the voice of cartoons sometimes) but I also say "your the cutest baby in the whole entire universe." I'm biased of course! ;)

Doctors. We went there to check on her ears and she remembered that place well. She started balling on the scale and only wanted mommy to hold her.
The booger sucker lol She has a runny nose and hates when we try to get some boogies out.
When we try to pick her up if she still wants to hang out on the floor. She throws her arms up which makes it so hard to lift her up.

Note: Jolie hasn't had a diaper rash since she's been born. We are still using water wipes (the best wipes in my opinion) and we use baby hugo diaper cream and baby powder (I got it from vitamin cottage). I also change her immediately when she poops. When she was younger, I would wash her bum after every poop if I was home.

Nine Months

Size Diapers: Size Four. 

Size Clothes: She wears 6-12 and 12-18 months in leggings. The length fits perfectly but the waist is a little big.

Eyes: Still blue with a light hazel/yellowish around her pupil. I'm so happy we have a blue-eyed baby. Both my grandpas have blue eyes but none of us got blue eyes. Can't believe two people with hazel eyes (and genetics of course) FINALLY got a blue-eyed babe.

Hair: Brown with a hint of red..? I see it when she's in the sun. 

Sleeping: Same as last month | She's sleeping throughout the night. Yay! She'll go to bed anywhere between 7-9 p.m. and wake up around 7:00-8:30ish a.m. When she wakes up I make her a bottle, she plays for 30 minutes or so and is ready for her morning nap. She usually has around 3-4 naps a day. 

Eating: She's been drinking 7oz (Gerber Soothe) and eats Earth's Best organic oatmeal for breakfast with fruit added into the oatmeal. She loves apples, pears and bananas in her oatmeal. She's been eating Organic Beech-Nut baby food and seems to like most flavors. She tried steamed broccoli for the first time and loved it. 

Milestones: 

• She has four teeth coming in at the top 
• She pulls herself up on things.
• She's crawling and scooting. She's not the best at it but she's getting the hang of it. I sometimes get worried that she's a little behind but I have to remind myself not to compare her with other babies. I honestly feel like she'll skip crawling and go straight to taking steps.
• Says "mama" "dada" "baba"
• She understands us when we say certain words. For example, when I say "bottle" she'll start whining and wanting her bottle.
• She hardly wants to be held anymore. If you're standing up she's fine but as soon as you sit down, she'll try and scoot off your lap.
• She's getting more spots of eczema all over her back, shoulders, arms and neck. We picked up a new shampoo/body wash and we limited bath time to every other day. We also try not to leave her in there too long, which is sad because she loves bath time. 
• She's getting a lot better at picking her apple puffs up and other miscellaneous items up off the floor. She's so fast at it! 
• Sometimes its hard for her to fall asleep for her nap and if we watch little baby bum videos, she'll just stay up even though she's exhausted; so we've been watching Fixer Upper (love that show) and she usually falls asleep quick.

Eight Months

Size Diapers: Size Three. 

Size Clothes: 6-9, 6-12 Pants 6-12 are getting small. Old Navy 12-18 month leggings fit perfect. 

Eyes: Still blue with a light hazel/yellowish around her pupil. 

Hair: Brown but I do see golden/light brown in the sun. 

Sleeping: Same as last month | She's sleeping throughout the night. Yay! She'll go to bed anywhere between 7-9 p.m. and wake up around 7:00-8:30ish a.m. When she wakes up I make her a bottle, she plays for 30 minutes or so, and is ready for her morning nap. She usually has around 3-4 naps a day. 

Eating: She's been drinking 7oz (Gerber Soothe) and eats Earth's Best organic oatmeal for breakfast. She's been eating Organic Beech-Nut. Her favorite is apple, raspberry & avocado mix. I do have to mix a little bit of apple sauce or pears in with her vegtables. She also loves fresh avocados with banana. One of her favorite lunch meals but I don't like to give it to her often because it constipates her.

Milestones: 

• Two teeth coming in at the top
• She loves to clap her hands and claps her hands when we say "GO BRONCOS!" 
• Boy oh boy, does baby girl have a temper. 
• She's starting to rock back and forth on her hands and knees. Hopefully she starts crawling soon! 
• She says MAMA and BABA
• Starting to give kisses. She brings her head close and makes you do the rest! haha. 
• She's been hitting people in the face (not hard of course) but I've been saying "No, no" and she listens. Sometimes. haha Don't know why she does that.

Seven Months

Size Diapers: Size Three. Going to get her a size four the next time we make a target trip. 

Size Clothes: 6-9 and some 6-12. 

Eyes: Still blue with a light hazel/yellowish around her pupil. 

Hair: Brown with a little bit of reddish tint. 

Sleeping: She's sleeping throughout the night. Yay! She'll go to bed anywhere between 7-9 p.m. and wake up around 7:00-8:30ish a.m. When she wakes up I make her a bottle, she plays for 30 minutes or so, and is ready for her morning nap. She usually has around 3-4 naps a day. 

Eating: She's been drinking 7oz (Gerber Soothe) and eats Earth's Best organic oatmeal for breakfast. She usually leaves around 1-2oz of formula but will drink the rest a little later. She loves banana in her oatmeal and we also tried pears which she LOVES. I usually put fruit in her oatmeal every other day or so. So far she has tried.. green beans, banana, pears, sweet potato and carrots. My dad gave her a little bit of his dessert the other night and she smiled and said "mmmm." Hahaha.. naughty grandpa! But I'll admit, it was the cutest thing ever. So I may or may not have told him to give her another small bite. 

Milestones: 

• She says DADA!!! She doesn't quite know that Robby is dada (I mean she knows he's her dada but she doesn't know what dada means yet. I'll just stop! I need to go to bed) but she does say the word which makes me so incredibly happy. 
• She has TWO teeth coming in :)))) 
• She eats fruit from her fresh food feeder. Don't take that thing away! She'll scream. 
• She can pull/reach her little hanging toys on her exersaucer. 
• She can sit-up in the shopping cart. 
• Robby was sick and coughing (Halloween Eve to be exact) and she started fake coughing. She's hilarious and so dang smart!!!! 
• She touched the snow for the very first time on November 11th. 
• Our seventh month old is now giving me attitude. I posted a video on Instagram. I was trying to fix her headband and she gave me attitude. Grumpy eyebrows and all. 
• Today I asked her if she wanted her pacifier and she opened her mouth without even seeing the pacifier. My baby girl is understanding words :)

Tummy time. We are trying to practice crawling but she's not a big fan of tummy time. Never has been! I'm honestly in NO RUSH for her to start crawling. Not because she'll get into everything, but I just don't want her growing so fast :(

I'm really looking forward for her first Thanksgiving and Christmas. We got her some cute Christmas pajamas that I'll give her on Christmas Eve. My mom use to let us open one gift on Christmas Eve, which was always Christmas pajamas. So I'm passing the tradition on to my little one. When she gets older it'll be fun to add Christmas movies, popcorn, hot cocoa and a candy cane to the gift. I'm also really excited for her to meet Santa Claus. I bought her a really cute outfit just to meet him! 

We also got her her very own Christmas stocking!!! What is Santa putting in your babies stocking? ;) I've been waiting my whole life for these moments SO I CAN NOT WAIT for them and I'll be extremely sad when all her FIRST holidays are over. Daddy won't be here on Christmas once again :( Yes, he's going to miss her very first Christmas and we also got an offer on the house so we won't be having Christmas at our house which bums me out. Oh well. Got to count our blessings right?! ;)

I am also planning her FIRST BIRTHDAY party! I already bought a couple things for it haha. I mean, it is five months away and we all know how FAST five months goes by.
